Ball chain
A ball chain is strong and ideal for use in combination with a ratchet fastener. This can be done by leading a ball chain through the opening in the ratchet fastener on which for example a fan can be hung. Our chains are available in various sizes.

Ball chain – What are the sizes?
Ball chain can be ordered per roll (per meter) or can be cut to size. Pre-cut ball chains will be equipped with a fastener on one side. These fasteners can also be ordered separately.
In our webshop you will find this product in 3 widths:
- 2.4 mm
- 3.2 mm
- 3.6 mm
Additionally, some lengths of pre-cut ball chains including fastener are offered from stock in our webshop. Do not hesitate to contact us for other sizes.
Which materials exist?
Our product is available in nickel plated steel. Do not hesitate to inquire about the possibilities in case you should wish a different plating.
Usage & assembly
The chains are ideal for hanging tags or fans for example. During assembly, the fasteners are slightly pinched together to create a strong connection.

A ratchet fastener is comparable with a binding screw with hole and can be used in combination with a ball chain in a similar way. A ratchet fastener however, is assembled by clicking instead of screwing the two parts together. This means it cannot be disassembled.

Which ball chain size do I need?
An easy way for measuring the right size for your ball chain is by using a piece of rope as an example.
You can bundle your samples with the rope, hang it at the right height and measure the length of it. The chain should be the same length.
I ordered a roll of ball chain. How can I create pieces of a certain size?
You can easily cut the product to size with scissors or pincers. Subsequently, you assemble a fastener and slightly pinch it together.
How many meters is one roll?
Ball chain is available in rolls of 50 or 100 meters. You can also order chains per meter
Can I also order the fasteners separately?
Yes, the chain fasteners can also be ordered separately per 100 pieces.
